Behavioral Neuroscience at Miami

Miami University has a modern Psychology building, state of the art animal research facilities, and a strong collaborative program between the Psychology and Biology departments. The behavioral neuroscience group consists of three core faculty members (McMurrayQuinn, and Radke). Our overlapping interests allows for a high degree of productive collaboration. Graduate students in these labs enter through the department's program in Brain, Cognitive, and Developmental Sciences (BCD).

The RAD Lab is located in the basement of the Psychology Building at Miami University. We have ample space for behavioral experiments and a separate wet lab. We are located across the hall from the other Behavioral Neuroscience labs with whom we collaborate and share equipment.

Additional access to state of the art equipment is offered through the Center for Advanced Microscopy and Imaging (CAMI) and Center for Bioinformatics and Functional Genomics (CBFG).

These videos highlight the exceptional resources available to graduate and undergraduate students at Miami. The bottom video is the RAD Lab space (before we moved in!).
